For over a decade, I sat at the intersection of high-level business and high-level sensitivity. As an HR executive with an MBA, I had a front-row seat to the inner workings of corporate power. I saw who got promoted, whose ideas were heard, and who was left behind. And I noticed a disturbing pattern.

The most brilliant, insightful, and conscientious people—the ones who could feel the pulse of the company, who truly cared about the people behind the profits—were often the most overlooked and overwhelmed. They were the empaths, the sensitives, the deep processors. They were the ones doing the emotional labor for everyone else, and it was costing them their careers and their well-being.

I saw myself in their struggle. As an ENFJ, my entire world is viewed through the lens of human connection and potential. I knew that the conventional wisdom—to “toughen up” or “grow a thicker skin”—was not just bad advice; it was a rejection of the very trait that made these leaders so valuable.

I realized my true calling wasn't just to manage human resources, but to unlock human potential. I left my corporate career to build what I knew was missing: a strategic advisory firm for the empathic leader.
